El Cuerpo Técnico del Equipo Nacional Masculino Sub-23 designó a Alan Peker como capitán del seleccionado argentino.

Oriundo de Villa Clara, un pequeño pueblo del interior de la Provincia de Entre Ríos, y surgido de la escuelita de softbol de esta localidad, Alan ha sido protagonista de las máximas conquistas del softbol argentino: ha ganado el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil 2014, el Campeonato Mundial Mayor 2019, la medalla de oro en los Juegos Panamericanos de Lima 2019 y el Campeón Panamericano 2022. A lo largo de este tiempo, Alan ha acompañado este éxito deportivo con un crecimiento a nivel personal y humano que hoy lo hacen merecedor de esta designación.

Alan tendrá la responsabilidad y el orgullo de liderar al Equipo Sub-23 en el Campeonato Panamericano de la categoría, que se desarrollará en Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, del 22 al 29 de julio; y en la primera Copa Mundial WBSC en Paraná, del 24 al 30 de octubre, cuando Argentina sea sede del evento.

The Staff of the U-23 Men's National Team named Alan Peker as captain of the Argentine team, which will play the Pan American Championship and the World Cup later this year.

A native of Villa Clara, a small town in the interior of the Entre Rios Province, and developed at the local softball school, Alan has been the protagonist of the greatest achievements in Argentine softball history: he has won the 2014 Junior World Championship, the 2019 senior World Championship, the gold medal at the Pan American Games in Lima 2019 and the Pan American Championship 2022. Throughout this time, Alan has accompanied this sporting success with an exponential growth on a personal and human level that today make him worthy of this designation.

Alan will have the responsibility and pride of leading the Argentina U-23 National Team in the category's Pan American Championship, which will take place in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, from July 22 to 29; and at the first WBSC World Cup in Paraná, from October 24-30, when Argentina hosts the event.
